Resident Manager Overnight Awake (State St. Apartments/Young Adult Residence)
Are you a night owl? We are looking for a full-time overnight awake resident manager to join the State St. Apartments team. You will provide safety and support to residents and clients. Flexible schedules are available. Great job for students. Dependability, compassionand a good work ethic are a must. Must have a valid high school diploma and valid New York State driver's license. Resident Manager (Women's Shelter)
Part-time (Friday 12:00am - 8:00am, Sunday 3:00pm - 11:00pm) line in position. In exchange for working two - eight hour shifts and providing a back-up presence, the Live-In Resident Manager receives a two bedroom , fully furnished apartment with all utilities included (except telephone) in a smoke-free building. No children or pets. Hourly rate paid for additional shifts worked within the Adult Shelters Program. Provide, day, evening or overnight coverage as needed, including weekends and holidays, for a 15-bed shelter for adult women with mental illness or special needs. Resident managers work as a team and are responsible for supervision of the residents and general management of the shelter to ensure a safe, secure, comfortable and supportive enviroment for the residents. Services are provided in a manner consistent with the mission, policies, philosophy and procedures of the program and the agency. The resident manager monitors social and recreational activities, and performs and oversees all household duties including meal preparation, cleaning and maintenance of the facility. Work requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and more than one and up to three years of work experience in residential care, mental health or other human services. Must have a current and valid drivers license, ability to lift up to 40 lbs and negotiate stairs. Responsible to: Michele Welsh, Program Director.

Relief - Resident Manager (Emergency Shelter/ Women’s Shelter/Young Adult Res.)
Part-time positions responsible for providing day, evening or overnight coverage, including weekends and holidays, or as needed. Transporatation Aide (Adult Day Center)
Part-time (Mon-Fri 7:30am-10:00am& 2:00pm-4:30pm) (possibility of morning or afternoon only shift) position to provide safe door-through-door transportation assistance to both independent and disabled mature adults. Workday begins and ends at A&E Transportation services. Assist participants in embarking and disembarking the vehicle, secure wheelchairs with lock down straps, and ensure that seatbelts are secured. Accountable for accurate program record keeping, daily statistics, pick-up and delivery times on bus logs, and timely safety incident reporting. Assist with program and service delivery in the event of staff and volunteer shortages and other duties as assigned, attend supervision and required in-service training. Work requires the ability to provide polite, courteous, personal care to participants while arriving and departing the adult day program. Must have current and valid driver license, lift up to 50 lbs. and be able to perform all physical aspects of the position. Responsible to: Leona McGinnis, Activities Coordinator.

Community Health Workers
Community Health Workers are based at the Onondaga County Health Department and work collaboratively with the Public Health Teams and other maternal Child health agencies to provice outreach, education, advocacy and supportive guidance to pregnant and parenting families. CHW's assist clients in overcoming barriers to healthcare and other needed services in order to improve birth outcomes, promote family health and achieve their personal goals. These services are provided through home visitation. A valid driver's license and access to vehicle are required. High school diploma with equivalency with one year of related experience required Associates Degree preferred. Responsible to: Program Director

Part-time position responsible for providing support to at-risk youth between the ages of 10-20. Case Planner/Social Worker (Preventive Services)
Full-time position responsible to provide case planning and professional social work services to preventice services cases as assigned. Responsibilities include initiating contact and maintaining regular contact with mandated clients, conducting home visits, maintaining comprehensive assessments, devising intervention strategies and coordinating intervention services and case plans with all service providers. Work requires cultural competence and ability to work with a diverse population. The successful applicant will have a BA/BS in human services with 5 years experience or MSW/MA/MS with two years experience. Knowledge in Child Welfare Services preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills required. Must be computer literate. Valid driver’s license and vehicle required. Responsible to: Program Director.
