Barnabas Center offers case management services for older youth, ages 16-21.  Services focus on temporary and long-term homelessness, gang involvement, youth violence, poverty, unemployment, education, parenting, health and mental health issues.  In addition, Barnabas Center operates a Drop-In Center offering daily education, socialization and recreation for youth, ages 10-21.  Youth leadership classes and substance abuse prevention groups create weekly opportunities for intense youth involvement and peer interaction. The Barnabas Center Street Outreach Van also conveys portions of these same crisis intervention components directly to the youth that are spending their evenings and weekends gathering on street corners and local “hang-out spots.”
